Language Assistant

My name is Josh, and I’m lucky enough to have been selected as the English language assistant at Bildungscampus Graz for the 2025-2026 school year. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I spent the latter half of my childhood in Berkeley, California (though I attended high school in San Francisco). I then completed my bachelor’s degree in computer science, religion, and German, at Carleton College in Minnesota.

In addition to teaching the fundamentals of English, I hope to share and elucidate those parts of American culture most interesting and illuminating to my students. And while it’s frankly a tough time to be representing America, it would be my dear wish to serve as a foil to the orange man that can now be seen on every TV.
