“Cold!“, “Wet!“, “Stunning!“, “Magic!“ These are just a few adjectives describing our Ireland experience from September 23^rd to September 30^th, 2023. Picturesque scenery, extraordinary Irish friendliness, unbelievably fast dance moves, music that speaks to the heart and soul, are a few more impressions to take home.

Although the Irish weather gave us a hard time, we proved to be as weathertight as an Irish-born could be. Our lovely and welcoming host families did their best to make us feel comfortable and at home. Hot water bottles did the rest to help us survive the teeth-chattering cold Irish nights ;).

We even had a go at Irish dancing, but quickly realized that it can get extremely chaotic if you don’t know what you’re doing. However, we admired the precise and quick foot movement of our professional dancing instructor. Our teachers at Bridge Mills Language Center were great fun too. We’ll particularly miss the Werewolf games and good laughs.

We returned with our suitcases packed full of lovely memories, souveniers and Irish fudge to keep us going until we go back to Ireland again :).
